Good organization is half the work

We have already heard many times that good organization is half the work. Many experts will agree with that – especially entrepreneurs and craftsmen, business owners who depend a lot on good time management. There are many ways in which we can make our organization easier, and we prefer daily planning of activities – day by day. That is why we have selected some of the simplest tricks for this, as well as things that we should pay attention to when organizing work.

PLANNER

Whether you are more of an “analog” type and like to write by hand, or you enjoy all the benefits of various mobile applications, the first step is definitely to get yourself a planner in which you will be able to write down all your daily duties and tasks, as well as important notes. Having everything written down in one place will make day-to-day navigation much easier. And you know what they say – a smart person writes down.

PREPARATION – BRAINSTORMING

Although we mostly reserve it for group meetings and coming up with new ideas for work, brainstorming will also come in handy for organizing time. Write down in no particular order all the obligations that await you the next day and that you have determined that you want to do. Think about the day that awaits you and think about what you can and should do. You will find yourself already at this stage designing the time frame of your obligations, as you remember them. This is where you will already begin to set priority obligations and the hierarchy of your daily activities.

PLAN

Prepare your planner (either paper or digital ) and at the end of each day plan your obligations for the next day, as precisely as possible. The main advantage of organization is saving time, so try to put all the obligations into some realistic time frames. This is where your subjective assessment of the available time is important – how long it takes you to complete which task you will know best yourself, and then make a plan accordingly. It is important to emphasize that there is no perfect way to create an activity plan. Someone prefers to write, someone is more suited to visual mental maps or even graphs. Find the method of writing a daily plan that suits you best. Also, it is important that you try different ways of managing the plan – one day assign yourself a little more activity in addition to the basic obligations, another day a little less. With such a light rotation, you will best find a rhythm that suits you. Of course, there will be more difficult days with more work, and it is logical to expect that your plan will sometimes change in the middle of the day due to unexpected circumstances. But none of that should prevent you from trying to systematize your daily activities and obligations, because this method of organization has been proven to save time and improve the quality of work.

REMINDER – BENEFITS

The main advantage of this form of organization is, as we said, saving time. When you start the day with a clear goal and vision of all activities and obligations, you will have less idle time and less possibility of wasting time or repeating the same tasks more than once. But that is not the only advantage of this form of organization. There is also easier compliance with given deadlines, easier systematization of priority obligations, creation of additional time for new activities or training, reduction of the amount of deferred obligations or unfinished work. With this kind of careful planning from day to day, you will introduce more rules into everyday business life, reduce tension and uncertainty when doing work, which will indirectly lead to a feeling of greater productivity, control and security. And that is definitely what we all strive for in our daily business.
